At the Van Abbemuseum, students of all ages and academic levels experience what art can mean for themselves, each other, and the world around them. Here, you can find information about our extensive educational offerings. There is a suitable program for every age and every academic path.

A museum is more than a collection of statues on pedestals and paintings on walls. It is a place where curious people can meet artworks and each other, in all their cultural and physical diversity. With our wide-ranging and up-to-date educational program, students get to see how we work to make the museum accessible to everyone. They also experience their own place in the museum, among the artworks and in society at large.

To ensure your visit runs smoothly, we follow these guidelines:

• The group is divided into smaller groups of up to 15 people.
• Each group must have at least 1 adult supervisor (maximum 2 supervisors).
• Before the visit, please review the house rules with your group.
• When registering or announcing your visit, please include:
  The total number of participants
  The number of supervisors
  The date and time of the visit
