Our museum lessons and activities stir curiosity and encourage students to talk about art and how it affects them

The Van Abbemuseum wants to spark children's curiosity in art and culture. That's why we offer a variety of stimulating museum lessons for the lower and upper grades of primary education.
During these lessons, students will actively and creatively engage with art in the museum. They will explore exciting questions: in which ways can you encounter artworks? How can art affect you? What does art means to you? One thing is for sure: at the Van Abbemuseum, experiencing art is not something you do just using your eyes.
