DE OPENING: The Start of the Cultural Season

The new cultural season begins in Eindhoven with DE OPENING. During this nationwide event, cultural institutions, makers and artists present a preview of what audiences can look forward to in the coming season. The Van Abbemuseum is taking part with a special programme filled with art, encounters and activities.

Across the city, cultural venues open their doors for performances, presentations and activities. From music and theatre to visual art, DE OPENING showcases the breadth and diversity of Eindhoven’s and Brabant’s cultural offering.

Museum Ticket: One Ticket, Multiple Museums

Visiting the Van Abbemuseum during DE OPENING? With a single museum ticket, you will receive a wristband granting access to all participating museums throughout the weekend. This means you can explore not only the Van Abbemuseum but a range of other cultural venues as well.

Do you have a VriendenLoterij VIP Card? During the weekend, cardholders can enjoy free admission to all participating museums in Brabant together with one guest.
