Summer of Love (2025), Joeri Woudstra
On Saturday 29 August, The Hague-based composer Torus, the alias of multidisciplinary artist Joeri Woudstra, presents a live improvised ambient performance in the Klankkast.
With Summer of Loss, Torus returns to creating ambient music. During this performance, music, sound and atmosphere emerge entirely in the moment. Memories, silence and attentive listening come together in an immersive listening experience.
Summer of Loss has no fixed beginning or end. It is a temporary encounter in which sound, absence and transformation take centre stage. An invitation to listen to what passes and what remains.
This performance also marks the final live programme in the Klankkast, part of the exhibition Make Some Noise: Desire. Stage. Change.
