Bremen, Kunsthalle Bremen, 05-12-2020, 25-04-2021. - Since 2019, performance and video artist Luisa Eugeni (1987) and composer and musician Mattia Bonafini (1980) have been collaborating as the Sineumbra Collective to create cross-disciplinary projects in the form of multimedia installations containing video projections, music and performative elements. The first work of this Italian duo, who live in Germany, was created in 2019 for the masterclass student exhibition at the University of the Arts in Bremen and received the renowned Karin Hollweg Preis für Freie Kunst. Eugeni and Bonafini have developed a new project for the Kunsthalle Bremen titled SOMA to be presented in an extensive multimedia exhibition. It is the artist duo’s first solo exhibition.
