Talk Soph Boobyer

'to know with, what makes our grounds' is the research of Soph Boobyer with the Soils Project, focusing on the ongoing exploration of 'kin-aesthetic' methods, relating to movement and bodily experience in curatorial studies. This research looks at the role of soil in art museums, and how it possesses material consciousness, and affects curatorial gestures in the ways it interacts and effects its local environments. It presents soil as a ‘shifted’ and collective corporeality: material created through claimed biomes and structural movements.
