Children’s Art Club: Build the Future!
Create your own cardboard artwork at the Kazerne and Van Abbemuseum!
Oct 18, 2025 – Oct 26, 2025

What does your world of tomorrow look like? Draw or colour your vision of the future on a piece of cardboard at Kazerne – think green cities, imaginary creatures or a floating museum! Then join us for a short walk to the Van Abbemuseum, where you’ll fold your cardboard creation into a building block, guided by our team and inspired by the playful designs of Noa Haim. All blocks fit together – a bit like LEGO – and together they form one large artwork about the future. Of course, you’re welcome to take your own block home afterwards. Join us during Dutch Design Week and help build a sustainable dream world. For curious children, creative parents and anyone with a vivid imagination.
For parents
Parents and carers do not need to stay during the activity. So take the opportunity to enjoy lunch or explore the exhibitions at the museum or Kazerne while the children get creative.
