Last Lines* - Special Edition Children's Art Club

Artist Temitayo Ogunbiyi is putting the finishing touches to her installation You will play in nuance and grow community, now on view at the Van Abbemuseum. She invites children from 6 to 12 to think about the design of an addition to her installation.

The object she wants to add is a brass instrument that can be played by visitors to the museum. The instrument will consist of brass bars, based on the drawings of the children who participated in the workshop. The artist encourages the children to be inspired by maps of Eindhoven and the surrounding regions. Or to draw lines that they see in their immediate surroundings.

After the addition of the object, museum visitors can make music with wooden tools by hitting the instrument.
