Fawaka summer school for kids

Do you want to set up your own chocolate company? This summer, the Van Abbemuseum and Fawaka Entrepreneurship School are joining forces. Together with children (ages 6 to 12) in Eindhoven they are introduced to sustainable entrepreneurship.

The ambition is to reach all children in the Netherlands – regardless of where they grow up, their way of learning or background. Every child has the right to develop and look at themselves in a positive way.

During the Fawaka summer school for kids, participants work for 5 days. They learn to set up their own chocolate company in an honest (and delicious) way. On the last day of the summer school we will actually sell the chocolate.

Programme

Tuesday to Friday:

• • 11:00 – 11:30 Reception in the exhibition Soils
  • 11:30 – 12:30 Workshop in the classroom
  • 12:30 – 13:15 Lunch and play in the garden
  • 13:15  – 14:00 Workshop in the classroom

Saturday:

• • 11:00 – 12:00 Classroom
  • 12:00 – 12:45 Lunch
  • 12:45 – 14:00 Delicious Fair Choco Market in the museum shop
