More information about the film 'Gaza Fights for Freedom'
The documentary tells the story of Gaza and shows images of demonstrations, statements from victims and rare archive documentation. And thus explains the never-acknowledged history. Abby Martin's documentary originated while she was reporting in Palestine. She was denied entry to Gaza by the Israeli government. Martin contacted a group of journalists in Gaza to produce material. This collaboration made it possible to see images of resistance as they had never been shown before. With the highlight being material from the 'Great March of Return': a non-violent resistance that lasted weeks.

More information Workshop making protest signs
How can you show resistance? In the 'Signs of Resistance' workshop we translate our associations with the ongoing violence against the Palestinian population into protest signs using various methods and techniques. The resistance and solidarity protest signs will be used during future protest actions in Eindhoven. Are you unable to attend a demonstration? Then you can also donate your protest sign after the workshop. We ensure that your sign ends up in the right place.
