Building a More Accessible Cultural Sector Together

The Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science is collaborating with design agencies Zeewaardig and Greenberry on developing a concept for an 'Accessibility Knowledge Hub' for the cultural sector. This knowledge hub will focus on sharing knowledge, inspiring, and fostering networking. The initiative responds to a letter from State Secretary Uslu to the Second Chamber. In it, she states that knowledge about accessibility is fragmented and, as a result, underutilised by the sector.

Zeewaardig and Greenberry adopt a co-creative, design-oriented approach. Over the past few months, a team of experts, individuals with lived experience, creators, and organisations in the cultural sector have come together to work on the concept. During this gathering at the Embassy of Inclusive Society, we will present the concept and discuss it from various perspectives.

All those involved in the development of the knowledge hub are welcome. Additionally, we invite all other interested cultural institutions to join. The session will be conducted in Dutch.

Zeewaardig uses service design to bring ordinary people and organisations together to collaborate on complex issues. Greenberry is a strategic digital design agency for brands and organisations that believe in making things better.
