Description

Bas van Beek often draws on (product) designs from the past. For 'WW-FFCL', he used a Wiener Werkstätte pattern in which he incorporated miniature versions of Donald Judd’s Untitled series (1961–1968), part of the Van Abbemuseum’s collection. Van Beek’s wallpaper serves as an alternative background for modern art, interrupting the white cube to elicit a new viewing experience.
