It's all in the family!

A work of art always has a story, as does everyone. And this year, we are looking forward to hearing yours! Come to the Van Abbemuseum with the whole family from July 1st until September 2nd for the special Summer Tour!

 

Accompanied by a do-it-yourself tour, you will explore the museum together. The displayed masterpieces by Marc Chagall, Max Beckmann, Pablo Picasso and René Daniëls form the basis for fun activities and conversations about your own experiences, memories and dreams. The colourful booklet also contains information about the displayed artworks. You will not only get to know each other better during your visit, you will also learn something about modern and contemporary art!

After your tour you can enjoy and reminisce with a drink and something sweet in our museumcafé Karel I. Moreover, everyone receives a nice surprise upon completion.

Prices:

Family package (max. 2 adults and 3 children under 16): 27,50 euro
Adults and 65+: 12 euro
Students and CJP: 9 euro
Museumkaart / Rembrandtkaart / Friends of the Van Abbemuseum: 4 euro
Children 12 and younger: 2,50 euro

Prices include entrance to the Van Abbemuseum, a beautiful do-it-yourself tour, a drink with something sweet and a great surprise.

Opening times: Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00 to 17:00. The museum is closed on Monday, with the exception of public holidays. The museum is closed on New Year's Day, King's Day and Christmas Day. The Van Abbemuseum is open until 21:00 on the first Thursday evening of the month, admission to the museum is free from 17:00 on those nights. The museum cafe is also open until 21:00 on these evenings. We offer an internet connection via WIFI in the whole museum.
