Being productive and competitive in business doesn’t mean that you have to be serious all the time. Smiling doesn’t mean you’re not working hard. Enthusiasm doesn’t mean you’re not competitive. Being positive doesn’t mean you’re blind to challenges. Choose to enjoy your time at work. Find others who are like this and spread good cheer. It’s contagious and it grows. Try to avoid gossip and negative chat. It can be tempting, but it doesn’t serve anyone well, including yourself.
Indulging in short instructions and practical exercises in the museum between 12.00 and 17.00 you can come, enjoy and try it out on your own skin.
Have the group mill around the space for a while. Explain that we are always trying to CONNECT with people in all forms of life whether for business or pleasure. Here’s a game that will help you form a few more connections. Don’t forget to introduce yourself as you go along. When the facilitator shouts “CONNECT” they each find a partner and wait for the next instructions which will usually be something like:

* *toe to toe*
* *hand t
* *shoulder to shoulder o hand*
* *knee to knee*
* *arm to arm* *

*The performance , unannounced and happening sporadically during opening hours of the museum, will include two semi public, symposium-like instruction and exercise sessions organized by artists for current voluntaries of Van Abbe Museum, who will then practically exercise the mediation of the work to the public between 13.00 and 17.00.
