Curious about personal stories on art? Then the Summer Tour is really something for you. Come to the Van Abbemuseum this summer from 3 July to 29 August and enjoy this special offer.

The Summer Tour offers you the chance to learn more about the Van Abbemuseum on the basis of 25 masterpieces from the collection and some never shown international loans.

The Summer Tour is suitable for the whole family. You'll be given a colourful booklet with the do-it-yourself tour at the entrance. Set off on a walk through the museum and explore it from top to bottom and experience the art based on the stories of visitors, staff and artists.

When you're done, you can drop in at the Museum Café and settle down on our sunny terrace to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or tea and cake. For children under the age of 12, we have an artistic colouring picture, a drink as well as a suprise to take home afterwards.

Opening times: Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00 to 17:00. The museum is closed on Monday, with the exception of public holidays. The museum is closed on New Year's Day, King's Day and Christmas Day. The Van Abbemuseum is open until 21:00 on the first Thursday evening of the month, admission to the museum is free from 17:00 on those nights. The museum cafe is also open until 21:00 on these evenings. We offer an internet connection via WIFI in the whole museum.
