Mr. Probe Says Hello!

Mr. Probe is a new collaboration of violinist Marieke Berendsen and guitarist Bruno Nelissen. They bring a versatile program with new works of Frank Crijns, Yannis Kyriakides, David Helbich, Merijn Bisschops, Simon Steen-Andersen, Bruno Nelissen and Nico Sall. After a period in which they were both occupied with other projects, violist Marieke Berendsen and guitarist/componist Bruno Nelissen got together again to form this new program.

Mr. Probe is the name that the group chose for this instrumental ensemble. There is no standard setup, but they form a base for all kinds of tendencies, art forms and artists to take initiative. And every initiative becomes a 'probe' to test out.

Opening times: Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00 to 17:00. The museum is closed on Monday, with the exception of public holidays. The museum is closed on New Year's Day, King's Day and Christmas Day. The Van Abbemuseum is open until 21:00 on the first Thursday evening of the month, admission to the museum is free from 17:00 on those nights. The museum cafe is also open until 21:00 on these evenings. We offer an internet connection via WIFI in the whole museum.
