Plug In #32 One on one is the first of a series of presentations centering around a single work from the museum collection. The title of this Plug In is a reference to the one-on-one relationship between the work, the gallery and the visitor. 

Apart from the work itself, the gallery contains such information as publications, correspondence, exhibition history, reports on the work’s condition, restoration reports, illustrations of previous setups, etc., about the work in question. There is one chair in the gallery so that the visitor can sit down and look through all the information at leisure and for as long or as short as they like. The focal point of this Plug In is Frank Stella’s painting Tuxedo Junction, 1960.

Opening times: Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00 to 17:00. The museum is closed on Monday, with the exception of public holidays. The museum is closed on New Year's Day, King's Day and Christmas Day. The Van Abbemuseum is open until 21:00 on the first Thursday evening of the month, admission to the museum is free from 17:00 on those nights. The museum cafe is also open until 21:00 on these evenings. We offer an internet connection via WIFI in the whole museum.
