Wim Crouwel 80
Library Exhibition
On the occasion of the 80 birthday of Wim Crouwel the Van Abbemuseum Eindhoven, in collaboration with Municipal Museum Amsterdam, looks back on the period where he as a graphic designer, was responsible for the design of their catalogues, posters and invitations. From 1956 onward Van Abbe-director Edy de Wilde made an appeal to him. This was the beginning of a fruitfull collaboration which continued after 1964 in the Municipal Museum Amsterdam. His designs became legendary and are still an inspiration to the generation of young graphic designers.
