UNEXPECTED POSSIBILITIES

If you have something to celebrate, or if you are seeking a location for an inspiring day out with friends or colleagues, come to the Van Abbemuseum. We offer a variety of arrangements for gatherings large and small, and we will be happy to discuss the details of your requirements with you.

The museum architecture of the Van Abbemuseum presents an exclusive ambiance for business gatherings and festivities.

The Van Abbemuseum’s spectacular new building opened in 2003, integrating the original 1936 building which is now a listed monument. The new wing at the rear of the museum includes a splendid museum café with an outdoor terrace, an auditorium and a conference room. These are part of the museum, but they make up a distinct island which looks out over a pool formed by a widening in the River Dommel. Museum Café Karel 1, auditorium and conference room may be booked in combination or separately.
